If you do a search here @ the forum you'll find plenty of threads.

That being said, most of the blogs you'll find are going to be spammed-to-death since they're being shared openly. If you're going to comment on auto approve blogs I'd advise against pointing them directly at your site. Buffer pages are fine.

I'd suggest looking for moderated blogs and leaving good comments if you're pointing them at your site.

I agree with you, but usually hat happens on those open blog is that moderators stop approving them. So I would suggest try finding fres blogs and be on of the first posting comments

Disagree. Just make sure there's at least one or two recent posts on the blog. (Which will ensure that it's still an active blog.) If you're specifically leaving QUALITY comments on active blogs you'll see pretty good approval rates.

Being the first to comment on an auto approve blog post doesn't matter. It's most likely going to get hammered eventually. And it won't matter if your link is first or last.

Which tend to be spammed pretty heavily. If you're going the auto approve route, you're better off using a tool (like SEO Spyglass) to see where else people have commented. Instead of commenting on the posts that are in any list you find publicly.

Good idea! Or, you can take advantage of advanced search operators to trace footprints of blogs talking about your keywords that allow comments. You can try something like intitle:"keyword" +intext:"0 comments"

That's cool idea. I just tried it and made several back links. Thank you Seoposter

Or you could build quality links...... Chasing after auto approve blog comments is a quick way to waste months of your time just to find out that they don't work.

They still work. Kind of. And with a twist.

I'd never point them at my main site, but I've ranked plenty of YouTube videos, articles, etc, using mainly DoFollow Scrapebox blasts. But these types of sites can handle a surge of backlinks. And I tend to make sure about 80% of the comments are on DoFollow posts.

But gone are the days of blindly throwing thousands of junk links at your site and ranking well.

The problem with auto approve blogs is that 'most' will generally be low quality... and unmoderated.

If you are posting to an auto approve blog, then chances are that hundreds or even thousands of others are too.

Yes, You are right. Auto approve blogs have more chances of spamming comments because it collects lots of meaningless comments which can affects your comments.

Agreed. If I'm pointing the links at my main site I'd MUCH rather get a smaller # of links from higher quality / moderated blogs.

Even if someone shared any auto approved links with low OBL this will soon be end up by turning into mess due to public share. So look through the fresh ones using SEs and post appropriately to get the best out for your effort and research.

Most of the people who shares that kind of blog would understand that was a bad idea. After you share those links they are spammed and they became useless. Try to find blog unspammed and if you post a good and relevant comment will be approved.

Another pointless post just to get a signature backlink. There are MUCH better ways to create backlinks than making mindless posts on non-niche related forums.

Going after auto approve blogs to spam comments nowadays is borderline insane as a strategy. Rethink your strategy quickly.

Don't point automated comments @ your main site unless you want to run into some long-term problems. Unfortunately It's not 2009 anymore.

You should try to search the blog in google. Go to google blog search engine and type your keyword and then space and add + again space and type blogspot and you got the blogs.

I tried this method previously. The blog I found with do follow with auto commenting software is mostly not related to my niche. So not worth to spare time for it.

You can get pretty specific with a tool like Scrapebox. I had trouble at first until I got the hang of how it works. (And all of the different footprints search engines allow.)

Waste of time id say. These blogs are just left to rot and have low or no PR value. With the amount of people that spam there links to them you can damage your site

You can get lucky and find some that have PR & are (somewhat) free of spam. But with an auto approve blog it's only a matter of time.

It is better not post comments on some auto approve blog sites that cannot be good one. They are not useful for the backlink building.

High PR blog usually means hard to get your post approved, it seems most places wont approve you if you have any link to a site, not matter how good your post is.

Totally disagree. I tend to get at least half of my comments approved if the blogs are active & I'm leaving good comments.

Auto blog comment can kick you out of business. i have used it before and found out the disadvantage. The best way to use Auto blog comment is to point it to your sub-website or blog, not your main website.

Yeah, they can still help strengthen links to your main site if the links are on "authority" sites. Pointing them @ your main site is just asking for a disaster.

My advice is to try some high PR, low OBL, dofollow blog comments and see what happens. If you are worried about it then do it with a site that is less important. I personally have done alot of testing with this, and high PR dofollow blog comments have suited me increasingly well since Panda and Penguin hit. I have ranked pages into the top 5 on google in the last month with nothing more than the blog comments I did in an afternoon.

It is amazing how many PR 2,3,4 and even 5 sites you can find with a scraping tool like Scrapebox and a little patience. Obviously you want to avoid spam havens and preferably only go after places with low outbound links but that is basically it. Leave a good respectable comment and actually engage whatever is being discussed on the page and you will have yourself a great link.

High PR blog comments still work quite well and anybody saying otherwise simply isn't doing it right. Try it yourself and don't believe all the hype. 85% of people are just parroting what they read and not actually testing it themselves. Google wants social interaction and is not going to penalize you for it as long as you do your due diligence in the process and find sites that are worth commenting on and not blatant low quality sites.

      Good post.

It's sad that a lot of people still look @ blog commenting as nothing more than dropping junk comments on as many blogs as possible.

I'm sure this was stated prior, but if not then here i go. Auto approved blogs=a terrible idea. Its almost like you are hurting your website by getting links from blogs like this. Try to find other ways to get links first, this should be your last resort.

That's pretty much how I look at it. I can still run SB "blasts" to authority sites & help them rank. (YouTube videos, for example.) But pointing them directly at your own site is a recipe for disaster.

I suggest you not to go for auto approve blogs, because they are low quality and google doesn't like it.... go for moderator approved blogs. They are quality and you will get good backlinks.
