Embedding YouTube Clips to your site

Hi all, I was wondering when is it safe or NOT safe to share a youtube clip onto your site?

I read this Copyright Risks in Embedding YouTube Clips | The Blog Herald and found it very interesting.

For instance, let's say I have a sony product that I'm promoting. Is it wrong to have a "sony product review" video embedded on the page? Or is it wrong to even put a "sony video" from "sony" itself, even if I'm talking about the product? I just need some clarifications from people that have done this for a long time. Thanks.

    Contact the video creator if possible. I've done this with some sports clips from the PGA and ESPN. They sent an email back encouraging me to spread their material over the internet.

    I always create my own YT videos. Takes like 5 minutes to create and upload. Also helps with indexing.

    If you make promotion for the sony product and place the product review video of your own then it will be better. Or if you make video of your experience with any of your client then this true story will definitely be helpful to you for getting more visitors to you.
