So I have been doing some SEO work online. I always search for my keywords, and eventually I got on #1, 2, or 3 on my computer ONLY. LOL.

I go to other computers (not home or work) and I'm on page 2.

How do I reset my computer so that I'm able to see my real results.

As of now I'm between 14-25 for most of my keywords.

Thank you

I use CCleaner to clean everything about every two or three days (or as often as you want to get the Big G's little gremlins off your harddrive) - it is a free download you can get at:

CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download (direct link)

Additionally, I also change the location for Google results which you can do under search settings or look on the left side of the SERPs page and you should see your city/state. I pick a random city and state everytime I clean the junk as google seems to track the local searches and even if you clear your own PC of the trail the BIG G still has their own records showing that someone from your area (You) has been clicking on your site and they will present it closer to the top for that geographic area than they will for other areas.

I am not stating this to be factual for all searches, but for everything I have found in the past year or two it is proven true for me.

I have noticed I will hang out at #1 for a while then drop, then go back up to #1 with many keywords. I think Google likes to give other people a chance.

Google probably monitors how long they spend on your page vs the other page they give your keywords to, at times also to check relevance and perceived quality. But who knows ...

If you are checking in other computer just check the url of the google. Google.com/ncr will give the global result. google.co.yourcountrycode will give different result.

You can use SEO Quake to get your page rank. I am wondering whether you are getting good results from being on page one. That would be great! I think the numbers can change a lot over a day. For instance I've seen demos getting on page one with a video in 30 minutes or a few hours. The new video would have to replace someone else wouldn't it? Therefore a place on page one can jump around due to what else is happening at the moment.

Use serpfox to check the rank or if you are using chrome then click setting then open New incognito window then search.
