Can you get a squeeze page ranked?

It is a term getting 500 global searches a month according to google keyword, but the site would simply be a video squeeze page, is there any chance at all?

    Although its a low volume search term I think its a buying keyword. But say just generally if the keyword was non buying and quite low search volume?

    There's very little chance for a squeeze page to get ranked because it has almost no content.

    If you added more content to your squeeze page and you backlinked the hell out of it, there's a chance but in general, it's almost impossible to get a squeeze page ranked.

    Put content in the footer area. Websites like GoDaddy and TigerDirect do this all the time. As long as the content is relevant and keyword rich, it should be ranked just like any other web page.

    Yes it's possible even #1 for low competition keyword's due to backlink's and social signals the problem with squeeze page is that Google simply doesn't like such a pages to see onto first page, if you could rank squeeze page into top 3 position for some competitive term and somebody report your page to Google and Google team take manual review for your page that has only one purpose and that's to collect name's and email addresses they will most likely penalized squeeze page and drop the ranking ...I never did saw any squeeze page with little or no content ranked into top 3 spot for some competitive and profitable term...

    Yes, you definitely can, although with minimal content it can be extremely hard.

    You have two choices, fill the rest of your website with great high quality content and create a great interlinking strategy.

    Or (better plan) upload your vid to YouTube and embed straight into your sales page, you can get a YouTube video to the top of page one a LOT easier than a blank squeeze page with a video.
