how do you stop a clickbomber?

someone comes to my site everyday and clicks the ads 10 times in a row. I mean like 2 seconds apart. can this get me banned? how do I stop this?

    There's a small analytic tracking code called Trace My IP

    Put this on your site and see if you can spot any unusual traffic, ip adresses, returning vistors, ip type - public or private, where they are coming from, If you're on self hosted you can ban the ips from your cpanel.

    Monitor your Adsense account hourly for invalid click activity and use the times to root out the bad ips. You can also use Google Analytics, check the browser type, city, resolution and try to match two sessions of invalid click activity with all the combined data.

    You can also intergrate your Adsense account with the analytics to see what words are generating the activity, this can be used along side tracemyip both in real time. When it all matches on more than one occassion then you may have found the culprit.

    I always write to Adsense immediately this happens to me, having first taken a screenshot of my stat counter/analytics. You can only stop it with software. Of note is that you don't get a reply from Adsense unless it's a problem.

    Haha, welcome to the club. My site has a "dedicated" click bomber. Comes by a few times a day and clicks away. He probably gets off on it too. I'm sure there's jiz all over his computer.

    Any click bombers here on Warrior Forum? You losers should get a life.

      Well I would say this person has been blacklisted by Google, he will make a mistake one day and his activity won't count for anything.

        You can block the guy that keep repeating the click action. But, first of all, you need to find out the IP address, install visitor tracker, such as google analytics, statcounter, ip2map, ...

        Once you have the ip captured, you can redirect them on the next visit. You may also want to trace their location, using for example, ip2location. So that you can know the suspect coming again using other IP.

    Its better idea to trace the IP address of the person and then block the id from your cpanel otherwise you can write to Google Adsense about unethical clicks.
