Does google check articles for grammar?

Google always finds fresh and unique content so hoe can it skip or ignore grammar mistakes.

Well,it is believed that most of the times Google ignores grammatical mistakes.But yes the content of the website should be unique and well written.You must use keyword density of 2%-4%.

if it's not right now, you can count that it will soon.

Crammar is very important while content writing.Google also pay attention to this,So your content should be grammatical correct.otherwise it may ask Google to rank your content low.

If a portion of your total article/ stream does NOT meet the AP Stylesheet... you're deemed to have "lessor quality" content.

Some of your grammar is OK for it to be colloquial
blogs typically use LOL, txt short cuts... that is to be expected
but some, not sure what percentage but some of your total articles in your stream, if you want them to be deemed "authoritative" by the algorithm, some of them have to "pass muster" vis a vis the AP Stylesheet

actually if you are using unique content that will always speak. If you are using spinner , rewriter it is always having grammer mistakes. As of i know Google do not allowed this types .

Yeah. I think google checks them. They have been so strict about content lately especially after the panda and penguin update. Also, with grammar issues, you won't have visitors in your website.

Panda destroyed a lot of sites with poor grammar. I don't think is a good idea to have a site with a lot of mistakes in the content.

I believe it does for higher volume/money sites.

I know a couple of the algorithms Google has which "readability" from my own NLP research and from reading Google patents. I have no clue how often they use those algorithms (my guess it not often because they are generally very resource intensive to compute) but I know they exist.

That does not mean you have to use completely unique high quality content, though. If a spinner incorporates those readability factors in its spinning it can produce readable articles.

Google doesn't have a human mind. It can't think the way people do. How can it find the grammatical errors in a post?

Even I agree with this.... Google always checks for grammar mistakes. The articles with lot of grammar mistakes will not be valued high by Google.

Yes grammatical error change meaning of the sentence. so coming future Google calculate such error.

Content posted with hell lot of grammar mistakes are of no use. Quality content is nothing but the unique content with no grammar mistakes.

Yes Google checks for typos. The question is, do you check for typos?

If you regularly make spelling mistakes in your articles then Google will definitely take note. If you copy content then Google will also give you a cross. Getting a comma in the wrong place here and there won't really harm you, but make sure your information is on-topic and spelt right.

I doubt it. There are a lot of sites on page 1 with terrible grammar and poor English. There are even some sites with badly spun articles. I sure wish Google would grammar check these sites and knock them down to position 1000 or even de-index them. It's really annoying.

Yes, it does check articles. And also removes all the articles which contain duplicate content.

Some people might say no to this but honestly it's very likely, and i can even say WF does.

Each time i type trying to respond to a thread incorrect words is underlined in red, if your red is too much Google knows, the site you are publishing it on will most likely take it off.

They probably use the same tools such as those built in word processors such as microsoft word, it can detect spelling mistakes and sometime even grammatical errors and sentence structure. And as for them being Google, they probably have a better software for checking these kind of mistakes.

Forget about what Google thinks, and start thinking about your actual visitors.

If someone goes to a typical tech blog, and they see a guide for the iPhone, written in broken English, by someone from a country where most people can't even afford them, they will run a million miles away.

There are a lot of online grammar checking tools available on internet, thus yes ofcourse big G need quality content and having good Grammar is one of sign for a quality content.

According to me if your grammar is good enough then your article easily publish on quality article directory hence you can get priority over low quality content. After penguin update it’s important to maintain quality of article so according to me take care of grammatical error to avoid any further penalty from Google.

You should take care of grammar for visitors purpose.Make sure that the content is unique.

In general, it's always a good idea to practice good techniques. If google doesn't catch the mistakes, it's still the quickest way to lose the interest of your visitors.

yes, Google is capable of identifying grammar mistakes; it can even distinguish translated and spun content. The software they developed was with Wikipedia Group and they reportedly spent $30 million to integrate the software to their search algorithm. Some of my friends would do this...use content spinner, run hundreds of blogs on a particular niche and make thousands of dollars....Today, they aren't making a penny.
Over the years, Google has evolved a lot. You can't trick them for long.

I would say they used to ignore grammatical mistakes as I've ranked tons of sites with poor grammar but I bet now for long, they definitely have the linguistic code to differentiate between poor grammar and good grammar.

I think search engines are not intelligent enough now to check all grammar mistakes. It reduces their speed a lot. However, maybe they check some vital ones.

As poorly written articles gonna have high bounce rate , low page engagement and less time of page. Those KPIs will effect your search engine ranking

Yes I think that would be possible. Google is much more into unique articles and of course your article must be readable, if your grammar is wrong then that would become unreadable or your reader will more likely get annoyed.
