How do you create a domain with a PR3 using backlinks? How many PR5s do you need to make that happen? What is the time duration? Can the receiving domain be a new domain?

    This question is really rare to be asked by someone. No one knows the exact number of back links to get the PR3 or PR5 and the time duration required for happening all this stuff.

    Your question is impossible to answer. Not every PR 5 backlink is the same.

    For one thing the number of outgoing backlinks on the PR 5 page is going to impact the linkjuice each link is passing on. The more links there are, the weaker each link is.

    Also, PR is not just in whole numbers in reality, but that is all we see. It is an algorithmic scale, so what that means is if the real PR is a 5.66, that is significantly more powerful than a page with a PR of 5.12.

    On top of that, the PR we see is only updated a few times a year and lags behind by several months, so it is impossible for us to really know the exact PR of a page.

    This is the first time i am seeing this type question and it is not possible to answer this question, but i can say one thing that, it depends upon how many backlinks that were indexed by google and the "quality" of backlinks not "quantity".

      Its very hard to say. only google itself knows how many PR5 links are needed to make a domain of PR3

    My entire link building process is about manufacturing contextual high PR backlinks through multiple tiers of links. I started this process a couple of months ago and I have had a few web 2.0's come to PR2/3 and one came to PR4 in the latest update.

    Well, your question doesn't exactly have a specific answer to it since the page rank you receive will actually depend on many varying factors.
    Getting links from PR5 sites or higher is a good way but you'll also need to factor in the quality of the web page linking to you. Look at factors such as the out going links on that page, social activity such as shares in social media, the keywords used relative to yours, etc.

    jesus, apart from junwejw why is everyone making this so complicated? "Only Google knows the answer bla bla bla"...that's bs.

    It really is very simple, you just need ONE PR5 link and your site will become PR3 when google crawls that link and it will be confirmed when the toolbar pagerank updates for it.

    Just search google for PR charts and you will understand.
