How to build high quality backlinks?

for me high quality backlinks are backlinks with good quality related and unique content so even comments can be high quality content as soon as they are not spammy. If you build the links yourself like articles or web2.0 links you need to ensure you build backlinks to your backlinks to increase there value

Yeah many people say that (myself included), but what we often don't say that it is hard work, time consuming, and many times, costly. If you don't have the patience for outreach, you might as well stick with the blog commenting and article directories.

Honestly speaking in my 4 years working as an SEO specialist freelancer I heard this a lot from my clients. Clients who paid invested a lot on e-books, read a lot of blog post, bought a lot .pdf files stuffs.

Quality or not they are still backlinks. Even if with the presence of Google Penguin nothing has changed about the fact that backlinks is still backlinks. But if you try to manipulate your rankings on Google using dirty tricks your dead, you will still be alive but not for long.

To tell you the fact I have 152 do-follow backlinks and more than 3k of no-follow yet my personal blog that is just a sub-domain of blogspot is on the 1st page (a keyword with 135,000,000 results) of Google, Yahoo and Bing and it only took me a week to achieve that. I won't flash my keyword nor my blog here. Just PM me and I'll give it to you as a proof of what I am saying.

This "QUALITY" thing was made up by someone so he can sell his e-books or .pdf files.

Also... Isn't Google Penguin monitoring unnatural backlinks? Don't you think getting just High Quality backlinks is unnatural? - did you get my point?

So Google wants us to create a website, and then let it sit on page 10,000 hoping someone else will find it and feel compelled enough to give us a "natural" backlink?

Do you all see the catch 22 here? If Google catches us creating our own backlinks we get sandboxed. Yet if we don't do the latter we don't get ranked, therefore our site is never seen by anyone that may be willing to create a link for us. Its an impossible situation if you follow their rules (which I doubt anyone does BTW).

There are ways to do it, withing Googles Guidelines.

Personally, at the moment I have reshuffled my business and I am now focussed on building my sites up without google. I was focused on it before, but now I am focused a lot more.

What I mean is, don't do things with Google in mind. Ranking high is a bonus, yeah I expect it long term, but I am not going to go out of business if it never happens.

Therefore, do things like press releases (which I believe Google still sees as a legitemate way to market your business, and if they don't, who cares?) guest blogging and other things that are focussed on "Marketing your sites" not on just getting higher in the rankings. The knock on effect you will find with this focus change is that you should notice an increase in your rankings anyway.

There's a lot more to it, but in a nutshell focus on marketing your business not on getting links for Google. That is what google is basically saying. When Google sees you have a quality site that is talked about online and that is getting exposer else where then it will most likely reward you with higher rankings.

The above works well for the sort of sites I try to create, which is high quality authority sites that when people in my niche find them, they will naturally want to link to them.

If you are creating low quality sites or sites that don't really add much value then the above is probably not going to work and you are going to be left with no choice but to try and game the system in a more direct way.

How is your 135 000 000 results related with keyword competition? Please...

Building ****ty links simply don't work anymore , you can't rank a serious keyword (and I'm not talking about your 135 000 000 results lawl) blasting with xrumer/scrapebox anymore. Quality means links that will get indexed by google , quality means that they have some value on google's eyes , how much value do you think a blog comment on a page with 300 OBLs have ?

I define a 'quality' backlink as something that is on a domain Google already trusts, surrounded by relevant content and the link is in context.

To turn that into a 'high quality' backlink I use tiered linking to pass strength and authrity to the link which essentially gives you the power to manufacture as many PR2,3,4+ relevant in context backlinks as you want.

I don't like the term befriending, i prefer building a relationship with a client. If 2 people can mentally help each other then why not? It is a lot quicker to get results as part of a team as apposed to an individual.

There are some places you can get links without having to make friends, you just have to create a presence. Like if you post on this forum a link to your website and ask people for tips, that is 1 backlink. Keep that in mind for the future

You can build quality backlinks from web directory submission, social bookmarking submission, article directory submission, press release and etc. This are all good for quality backlinks. It takes time but look's like natural linkbuilding.

The best quality of backlinks are those from the dot gov and dot edu sites. Fortunately Google helps us to find those sites easy. With the FireFox browser and the right plugins it's easy to see which of those sites have a high PR. Comment on those sites more than on others. And do not forget some blogs still use the Do-Follow atribute. The Comment love plugin is getting a second wind too. Search for blogs using these and you are well on your way to get some good backlinks.

- infographics
- themes
- tutorials
- screencasts and videos
- games
- web apps
- templates
- screensaves
- vectors
- audio files
- other downloads
Build these assets and send paid traffic at them and/or pay experts in the niche to promote them

Pay to get into quality directories

Guest post like a crazy person or hire a ghost writer or 10 to do it if your one of the people in this thread with the brok'n engrish

build or buy other sites in your niche (this is a huge one), every big player on the internet has dozens of pumper sites feeding their money site link juice

press releases

build a real social following

create contests and giveaways

PPC, CPA, PPV advertising - you have to advertise, SEO only gets you so far

For me, link building techniques such as forum commenting, blog commenting, article directories are still effective methods to increase backlinks for your website. Just try to find quality websites with high PR.

Serious and quick answer.

Buy them through services on here. I found one ages ago and have used them on all my projects since then. No sense in wasting my time building these manual links. My time is worth more than a few hundred dollars a month and there's now way I'd get the same quality links anyways.

These days you gotta pay to play. Cheap low quality work wont get you far.

I thinks forum posting,high pr site social bookmarking,blog commenting, unique article submission in article directory it is the best way for good backlinks, as i got effective backlinks, for this reason my miximum keyword in first page. But yea i didn't use any robot software for backlinks.

Simple answer is get quality links with lots of content. Article marketing is still valuable if you are using it with Free blog platforms
