Google Webmaster - No Queries

I have a site that is about a month old - 50ish pages and 250+ backlinks built, and in Webmaster Tools on the dashboard under Search Queries I have a red circle with an exclamation point in it and "No Queries" after it.

I have another site I built around the same time with the same WP template but I haven't build any links to it, and that one doesn't have the No Queries warning but it isn't getting any either.

I've never seen a site with No Queries and don't know how it is possible with 50 pages of content. Even a 1 page site with 1-2 backlinks will have a list of keywords, if not actual queries.

Is something wrong with the code snippet I installed or possibly the site itself? I've replaced the webmaster snippet of code once. It is a WordPress site. All of the pages are index but nothing is ranked.

Anyone seen this, experienced this.

    Have you checked Analytics to see if you are actually getting any traffic on the sites yet?

    Are you getting any traffic from search engines ?

    If yes then you should check that you have added the Google webmaster tools code on your website correctly ?

    It seems to me that there is problem of Google webmaster tools code. If code is not put on the right place then you will not queries data.

      No traffic from search engines. A little bit of referral and direct.

      All the pages are indexed but 0 impressions across the board, which just doesn't seem possible. Even if a site isn't getting traffic WebmasterTools will show a list of keywords the pages are about. It doesn't even show that.

    There is no need to worry about lack of traffic because your website has been recently launched and might not even have been properly indexed. Just give it some more time and gradually you will notice improvements in traffic. Do not forget this fact that your website might be in something called Sandbox which means it is virtually invisible in Google and you need to be patient for several more weeks. Of course this is natural and happens to almost all newly registered domains and set up websites.

    Google likes to see websites get popular gradually and in the course of time, and therefore even if you get some very strong packs of links from high PR websites, but still time factor will be an extremely significant issue and your site should get a bit older before you notice some major changes in your Google Webmaster Tools panel, the queries sections that directly tells you what keywords have been used by visitors when they accessed your site and its ranks for various terms.

      The site isn't sandboxed. I've never had a site not receive at least 1 hit from Google in the first month. Most of my sites get over 100 uniques per day after after a week or two.
