Using Forum Posts To Diversify Anchor Text

I am considering using forum posts to diversify anchor text because they are:
  • Cheap to create
  • Can potentially generate click through traffic
How I intend to do it is to write a post about a huge discount on a product that I am offering and posting the same message in the correct/allowed forum section (classifieds section) of several relevant forums.

Do you think this will help to diversify my anchor text?

Is it alright to use the same message?

You'll essentially be flying blind AND most of the forum admins are smart enough to put global nofollow on all OBL's and profile/sig links.

A better solution is to carry out professional kw & anchor text analysis of the backlinks of the existing top 10 sites for your keyword

What do you mean by flying blind? Do you mean that I will not be sure if Google will count those links?
