Newbie SEO help needed urgent

Warrior forum has been one of the most helpful and motivating factor in my IM journey so far. Though I have just begun my journey, yet I have learned a lot from your valuable replies to my questions.

Now again, I need some advice on how to go about doing SEO for my site.

Is there any step by step blueprint that teaches SEO to complete newbies? I mean absolute novice.

I had bought Mark Ling's AffiloBlueprint course for the same. It was amazing till I got to the SEO section. The more I watch the videos, the more I get confused.

Moreover the support takes a lot of time to answer.


I would really appreciate if people from this forum can find the time to answer my questions regarding SEO.

I have already done the directory submissions and now I am moving on to article marketing and blog commenting.


For starting I have chosen to target 3-4 keywords right now.


Today I want to ask you some doubts I have had about article writing:


1. Article Writing


The first thing I started with was article marketing.I wrote 3 new articles and submitted them to Ezine.Then I spun the articles and submitted them to few other article directories.

Now I am also planning to submit to some blog networks as well. Is it ok to do so??


I read that when I submit to blog networks, they allow upto 3 links in the body of the article.


Now when I submuit these links:

A.) Should they point to different websites altogether or just different pages of my website?


B.) Should I do Anchor Text Spinning for my main keyword as well as the other ones??


C.) If I point to different websites or different pages, won't that decrease the number of backlinks to my MAIN keyword??


D.) If I point to different articles on my website and also spin the anchor text for the same, won't this affect me when I target those keywords?


The strategy that I plan to use is :

1. One link points to the article with the same keyword on my site. Now this gets me the back links I need for that particular keyword.

2. The second link I was planning was to point to the HOMEPAGE of MY WEBSITE. This gets me the links to my homepage. Here I do not plan to spin the anchor text.

3. Third link would be pointing to some other article on MY WEBSITE. This is where I was asking to spin the Anchor text.

Since this article will be targeting some other keyword, this is what confuses me.

If I do this and then later on I target this keyword as my main keyword, the anchor text spin will be the same. So then I get more links with similar anchor text. Can this be considered bad?

Another thing that I noticed when I spin the anchor text is that the spun versions do not make sense.

For example:

If my keyword is "Knife Sharpning" and my sentence is


Learn knife sharpening in an easy way.



I use variations like
knife sharpening
sharpening a knife
sharp knives
knife sharpening tips
sharpening knives
click here
more info


But now when I spin the anchor text and use words like "Click here" OR "More info", this sentence will not make sense.

So how can I use such keywords? In fact most keywords will not make sense in the above sentence.
