Newbie Help Needed Urgent

To start with SEO as a fresher or newbie you will have to understand the concept of SEO why do we do it. Once understood there are many videos and e-book available over search engines to guide you well.

There are many SEO courses to follow.

In your position, I would do some reading on SEO first.

One book I can recommend is The Art Of SEO.

Do your research on the WF and elsewhere on the Internet. Learn the language and after you have some knowledge, get started and take action. It's the only way you can truly learn SEO - you will very likely fail a few times, the important thing is to keep going, though.

According to me first of all you need to put your efforts on onpage of the website. Once you will do with the unplug then start off page activities. Don’t Try to build links with your targeted keyword at the start of the project, according to me you need to do some branding (PR) for the website. Try to keep link diversity and create links for all landing pages of the website.

try with onsite seo first after that go for slow and steady backlinking..

When I was reading some sticky posts on this forum, I found some wonderful resources to learn SEO. Check out them.

Here is set of steps what I suggest (Basic steps):
1. Do keyword research (Use Google adwords tool) & find better keyword to rank [There are some sticky posts here explaining about is very well]

2. Take care of your on-page settings like Title, Site Desc, Keyword and etc. Make sure your content is fresh, unique, well written for your visitor and it has at least 2-3% keyword density of your main keyword.

3. Start link building (There are many methods, still you have some sticky posts here explaining those) - Always go for mixture of methods and various anchor texts.

Seo work is a interesting work. Firstly make a content for your website and then choose keywords and then build up the site and use those chosen keywords for your site.

The first thing I do is read. Read read and read. I read tons of information on various topics on the net. Anything that spikes my interest or that I've had an interest in for quite a long time. Therefore I have a passion on what I want to provide/write/talk about to my audience. I use Google reader, to Amazon, and sometimes Tumblr to see what the high school kids are talking about nowadays lol. (High school kids do carry a lot of the trends).

I'll do further on research with whatever the topic(s) that I've found. I'll take notes, etc. etc. And over time, I'll decide whether or not I want to make a site based on that topic. I look at my competition basically, and keyword research (google keyword tool).

Afterwards I'll think of a domain name (nothing with hyphens nor some BS name like xhowtogetgirls/chowtogetgirls.com etc.). Probably some kind of brand name that people can remember in the future. I'll set up my site with Wordpress (or whatever you're familiar with) and put a privacy policy, about page, contact, a couple plugins such as pingler, xml sitemaps, contact . I'll also make my site look pretty with various themes. There's tons of free ones out there.

And from there on I'll start posting all kinds of stuff with that niche/topic.I make sure that the title has that particular keyword that I searched on Google keyword tool, and that it's within the content, AND that it makes perfect sense for the readers to understand. I'll then use some type of affiliate program/adsense/amazon. I convert usually with links in the content "click here to learn more" "Click here to purchase this product." etc. etc. Adsense obviously, you'll just have to place them and test where you get the clicks.

Once I start posting, I'll start creating backlinks. You can read up on that in this forum. There are some sites that I have where I barely do any backlinks just cause the competition is extremely low. But nevertheless, there is still backlinking involved.
