One Question About Using SpriteMe to Create CSS Sprites for Wordpress Blog

I recently ran the google Page Speed tester (or whatever you call it), and one of the things it said I needed to do was implement CSS Sprites.

I did some online research and heard about SpriteMe (spriteme(dot)org).

On the SpriteMe webpage, it says that to "install SpriteMe", you just need to drag a link they have on the page "to your bookmark toolbar, or right-click it to add it to your favorites."

My question:

1. How is dragging a link to your bookmark toolbar, or adding it to your favorites, going to create Sprites on my blog?

I was trying to find a Wordpress plugin that might make this easier, but the csprites plugin that I found is outdated.

I'm new to this concept of Sprites, so I apologize for sounding ignorant on this topic.

Any help you can give me to help me get Sprites created for my Wordpress blog would be appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. I also found Spritegen (spritegen(dot)website-performance(dot)org), but my interpretation of what I read on the site, is that you have to take all of the images you're using on your website, put them in a zip file, and manually manipulate CSS code (which I'm trying to avoid having to do, because I don't know what I'm doing).
