After 3 months, I've finally reached $100 with Adsense!! :)

Hi all,

I manage a few websites on health issues. Three of them are dead-ends. Two of them make me $2 - $3 average daily. With that said, after much hard work (creating new content daily, doing on-site SEO and off-site SEO, social sharing, article submissions, etc etc), I have finally made the $100 needed for payment through adsense!

This is my first time actually achieving this so I'm pretty excited.

Although it took me 3 months to get it, and I know it isn't much after that long, it motivates me to keep going.

But I have a question. What do I do now?

What is the next step?

I can't live off $2 daily. How can I earn more? Let's say... $10 daily?

I'm getting 500 unique visitors on average on both of my sites.

People don't seem to want to click and just aren't interested in the ads. They come to read the content I publish and then they leave.

Some have liked the site's facebook page and 4 of them have subscribed through feedburner to my mailing list. That's a good sign right? But still, my earnings haven't changed.

I'm not sure what else to do.

P.S: Here's another question: How long does it take for Google to send the payment via EFT or bank deposit?

Thanks.

By the way, add an affiliate product incase your adsense got banned, keep scale up!

      Goodluck!
Or new sites that use affiliate products instead of Adsense.

Can you target more, related keywords? If not you might be stuck at that figure because you can't get more visitors and need to either try differnet placement of ad's or change site design to try to get a better ctr on your ad's or look into another keyword niche and start another site.

Just keep doing what you are doing , creating new a nd fresh content. If you feel you have reached the max that you can get out of people on that site create a new site, as everyone else has said just keep scaling up. I started out by aiming to double my adsense each month and the first 4 -5 months i achieved that, but you come to a stage where it just seems to steady out. Now that site is on auto pilot why i focus on my other sites.
Good luck with what ever you choose to do.

      Getting paid by August 31!

I'm thinking of doing the same thing I did with my first site but on a different health topic on two new sites. That way I'll be earning $2 - $5 from more sites! Adding to my daily earnings!

My new goal: earn $10 a day through adsense alone

I know it isn't going to be easy but I just registered two new .com's and I'm working my way there!

    Congrats.

3 months is still early days, especially for sites monetized with adsense. It took 7 months to make my first $100 with my very first site with adsense, well it is my very first site period.

My site is also in the health niche, and within a year it was making 1k a month, and after 2 it was making 9k a month! about 5k adsense, and 4k amazon. Of course that was before the penguin hit it! Now it is down to 1.5k a month.

Anyhow, the point is, keep rocking on the site and keep writing new posts that target long tails, and do some quality backlinking to get better rank with any good keywords your doing well with right now, and the site will probably get on the up and up.

Just be careful with the backlinking these days. Don't listen to anyone who says backlinks don't work anymore, I keep hearing that crap, just get the right ones :-)

My advice is to forget about adsense and start converting the traffic yourself!
You are just leaving money on the table otherwise.

You clearly have great content that the readers are engaging with. Try to find an affiliate program that you can monetise your traffic with.

    Congrats on the milestone.

Don't listen to those saying to forget adsense. It doesn't hurt to add more ways to earn income, but adsense is definitely a solid way to earn some solid $.

Good one mate. That's your first step!

    Now 'rinse and repeat'!

i'm still doing a bit of Adsense, earn about $150 a month consistenly .. pays for fuel. So not bad.

Affiliates will will take it up a notch but hey ... later .. first toast your success because you now know it's possible.
