Adwords for Organic Search Help

Hi,

I'm new to AdWords and I was reading that AdWords can also be used as a tool to help find keywords for your organic search.

I understand the concept of QS, and was wondering if there is a best practice for using AdWords to test out new keywords, without killing your QS and without spending a ton of cash.

For my organic SEO, I generally try to use 3-5 well targeted keywords per landing page, with focused content on the page.

That being said, there are hundreds of keywords and keyword variations I'd like to try out with AdWords.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to do this?

    Ill answer the seo bit. Once you run a PPC campaign and see what is converting then design your seo efforts around those keywords that are converting in PPC.

    You really have asked difficult question. I think its really almost impossible to know unless you have some adwords tracking software.

      Let me ask a different way.

      If you are using AdWords, how can you avoid a QS penalty, yet still use hundreds and hundreds of keywords? (without setting up tons of adgroups, ads, and targeted landing pages?)

      If I basically create a campaign with a few hundred words and run it for a few weeks, will my QS recover once I pause (and stop using) this campaign?

      I really just want to look at the impression results for all of these keywords at once, over a short period of time (weeks).

    I believe QS has nothing to do with CTR. (please correct me if I am wrong)
    If you try to go ahead with few keywords and get few impressions and no clicks, your CTR will be affected resulting in high price for keywords.(the more your CTR the less you pay per click eventually)

      If you are not sure, I'd really appreciate it if you allow someone with more experience to answer.
