Do you hate keyword research?

I kinda like it. In fact, I've probably wasted more time looking for perfect keywords than I have actually ever used.

Would love to hear your opinions.

Thanks,

Dan

Yep, and in my business model it's actually the most productive use of my time as everything else can be outsourced quite easily. Just get creative with it, you probably come across hundreds of new niche ideas everyday just going about your day to day life. Have fun with it and explore the open seas!

  Thanks

Depends on the market really. For example, getting great KW's on the Spanish market is not nearly as hard as it is in English, as the competition is way softer. Coming from someone who builds English and Spanish sites both for himself and clients.

I love doing keyword research. You never know when you will find that "Money Word", as I like to call it.

One good Money Word can add thousands to your income if you have a good product or service to offer.

Reading all those comments from fellow lovers of keyword research almost brings tears to my eyes. Finally, a group of people who appreciates the beauty of spending hours with the GKT, Excel and a host of other keyword research tools. I'm home at last!

Seriously, I love it. I can't find a rational explanation, but I just think it's a lot of fun.

I like to do Keyword research because In seo, Keyword research is a very first step to select best keywords for websites. There are plenty of things to keep in mind while doing keyword research for website such as:

  1. Select keyword as per their competition,
  2. Select keyword as per the average of searches by people
  3. Choose long tail & Broad keywords.

Keyword research is time consuming and requires hard work, but it's worth the effort. Once you find the right keywords, you can start focusing on other aspects of your website such as content writing, on page optimization, etc. This step is an essential part of your SEO strategy.

It is not keyword research that I hate but all the hard work actually starts when you found the keywords that look promising :p

I have seen so many people get stuck on keyword research because they like it, and never actually turn those keywords into great money making sites.

As the Buddha once said "Good in the beginning, good in the middle, good in the end"
