Monetize with Adsense and clickbank?

Has anyone tried monetizing their sites with both Adsense and Clickbank at the same time? I'm starting with trying to make money with adsense so I decided to have someone to make the site for me (it was an offer here on the warriorforum) and I was thinking I could insert relevant Clickbank offers into the articles to make money both ways. Has anyone ever tried this? how well are your sites doing? and will it have a negative impact with Google? Thanks!

Hi - I have monitized my niche sites with Adsense, Amazon and Clickbank I also ensure to have a pop up capture page offering a good quality freebie giveaway - After that its up to you to get targeted traffic to the site

The site also has to be attractive and have the ability to keep visitors on the page long enough to take some sort of action.

    Hope this helps

    Regards

I think you're only hurting yourself if you do this.

Adsense payouts are so low and you'd only be stealing clicks from your affiliate links.

Unless your keyword has a $50 cpc you want them clicking on that affiliate link at all cost

      Good luck
      Thanks for your suggestion sir!

Interesting, but what if its mainly a site built to make money for adsense? and the articles would be there to provide good content, I just thought I could have a relevant affiliate links in the article. Do you think a site made for adsense could be turned into soley an affiliate site successfully?

Yes I started off with Adsense but was upset that my website with 1000 Unique visitors a day was only earning $5.00 a day with adsense

I switched to Amazon and it quickly shot up to $50.00 a day
