Hi all,

I am trying to learn SEO.
I have got a number of questions and would appreciate any help.

1) Why do people say its bad to build fast backlinks (say 2000/month), when google might not be able to index most of the links at once?

2) If say I have done a Backlinking for a keyword for a month and have seen my website rank better? Should I stop building links for that keyword and wait to see if it goes up ((my instinct says it will probably drop))and do backlinking for other keyword?

3)I have been reading that I should have good quality content on website,, but what if I have an e-commerce website, where mostly I will have images and products? Plus, for alt image tag should I use description like a paragraph or just some keywords?

4)Now i want my front page to optimize for 5 keywords, but I can not have those 5 stuffed in title tag and meta tag. RIGHT? So how to do on-page optimization for those keywords OR just backlinks are enough?

5) How do I figure out what keyword is low competition? ((I am not asking low in terms of google adwords))? What search techniques will allow to figure if a particular keyword has not been linked that much?

Any help would be appreciated. I know you could write essays on these topics. However, I would appreciate some help.
THANKS to all in advance who would participate.

    1) People if your site is new, it doesn't look natural to Google, to build links that fast.
    2) Keep a steady link velocity going, as in usually when you build links to your site, you will experience a Google dance. Wait a couple days or weeks until the keyword settles and continue building backlinks.
    3) Put your keywords that you want to rank for in your Title tags, meta tags, perma links, descriptions, etc
    4)Do both
5)Google keyword Toolbox. Check the exact box.

Google is very smart and they catch on if you are just blasting away with backlinks. The more natural the backlinks appear the better. Advanced SEO experts find ways to make their software create backlinks in mass but still under Google's radar.

You need to be able to read your competition and make a variety of backlinks to keep raising in the ranks. The Google sniper technique is a very good way to cheat the odds and rank easier with backlinks.

Regardless of whatever type of website quality content will always win. Use your main keyword for the alt image tag.

Let's say for example you have a blog. You want to focus on ranking the website for one main keyword and using alternative keywords inside the posts. You need to do on page and off page optimization.

Use a keyword tool like Market Samurai and SEO Quake for deeper analysis. If you see ezine articles with no backlinks or You Tube with no backlinks you can use high page ranked sites to rank. If you are using a brand new domain it will take some time to build authority.

    Hope this helps...

you do not want to build 1000 today and nothing Tommorow and you want them from all different places make a array of links from all over the place
I still blast new sites if and when I am building them but you got to keep the linking steady dont build xxxx for a few days then wait a week or two then another xxxx

    2) If say I have done a Backlinking for a keyword for a month and have seen my website rank better? Should I stop building links for that keyword and wait to see if it goes up ((my instinct says it will probably drop))and do backlinking for other keyword?
I continue mine until it gets to where I want it I may build slow and steady for very tough keywords

3)I have been reading that I should have good quality content on website,, but what if I have an e-commerce website, where mostly I will have images and products? Plus, for alt image tag should I use description like a paragraph or just some keywords?
alt tags I use a variety of my keywords no more then 3-4 words.
for the site I would not have just pics and products why not throw in a few informational articles? and setup tags to point to certain products for that tag or categories

4)Now i want my front page to optimize for 5 keywords, but I can not have those 5 stuffed in title tag and meta tag. RIGHT? So how to do on-page optimization for those keywords OR just backlinks are enough?again why not have informational articles setup pointing to various tags etc

    5) How do I figure out what keyword is low competition? ((I am not asking low in terms of google adwords))? What search techniques will allow to figure if a particular keyword has not been linked that much?

    1) Why do people say its bad to build fast backlinks (say 2000/month), when google might not be able to index most of the links at once?
SEARCH ENGINE OR CRAWLERS ARE DESIGN WITH THE BRAIN OF HUMAN BEING ...AS IT FOLLOWS THE EFFECT OF NATURAL ACTIVITIES ....TALKING ABOUT HUMAN SPEED .... IF YOU SHOULD USE ANY BUNCH BACKLINKING SYSTEM THEN TRY THOSE PROGRAM THAT BACKLINKS WITH GOOD TIME OUT LET SAY 20SECONDS INTERVAL ..THEN IT WILL SEEM LIKE ITS NATURAL ...AND CONSIDERING A FEW WEEK /DAYS YOU JUST CREATED THE NEW SITE FEWER LINKS PER DAY IS EXPECTED TILL MONTHS COUNTED THEN YOU CAN START THE OF BUNCH BACKLINK

    2) If say I have done a Backlinking for a keyword for a month and have seen my website rank better? Should I stop building links for that keyword and wait to see if it goes up ((my instinct says it will probably drop))and do backlinking for other keyword?
YOUR BACKLINK DOESN'T DROP WHAT HAPPEN MOST TIMES IS THAT YOU GET A NEW COMPETITOR WHO WANT TO RANK WELL FOR THE SAME KEYWORD ...SO IT DEPENDS ON HOW COMPETITIVE YOUR KEYWORD AS EVERY OTHER PERSON WANT TO DO FINE ON IT ...SO BACK LINKING IS A CONTINUOUS THING

3)I have been reading that I should have good quality content on website,, but what if I have an e-commerce website, where mostly I will have images and products? Plus, for alt image tag should I use description like a paragraph or just some keywords?
REGARDING THIS YOUR MAJOR KEYWORD IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR IMAGE TAG AND CAN STILL ADD OTHER CLOSE KEYWORD

4)Now i want my front page to optimize for 5 keywords, but I can not have those 5 stuffed in title tag and meta tag. RIGHT? So how to do on-page optimization for those keywords OR just backlinks are enough?

YOUR MAJOR KEYWORD IS IMPORTANT IN ALL ASPECT YOU MENTION ...NOTHING TO PENALIZE YOU FOR THEM APPEARING IN ALL

    5) How do I figure out what keyword is low competition? ((I am not asking low in terms of google adwords))? What search techniques will allow to figure if a particular keyword has not been linked that much?

    1. Link velocity. A new site will *usually* start with gaining very few links. However there are exceptions if for example a site does massive publicity drive - and they don't get slapped do they? So its' a bit of a "bogey man" story. The key is to diversify your linkbuilding so it looks natural.

    2. See number one.

    3. You can write about the products can't you? Start an onsite blog and link to products, improve product descriptions, do guides on product groups etc. There is ALWAYS more content you can add.

    4. Have your keyword, or a variation in the title once. Forget meta tags - Google has.

    5. Big topic, but google keyword tool, exact match, and also do the search on google and look at the top ten sites and review links, age and quality of top ranked site (I do top 3). Also gut feeling and experience come into it.
