Hello Warriors,

Will a page get PR value based on the number of views it has? So far I heard that the page not indexed by google will not have PR value, but one of my profile page on other article website has PR 1 which will not come up in google search. So can we assume that number of page views boost PR??
#page #rank #views

To the best of my knowledge your Page Rank is not determined by page views. Page Rank is calculated by Google according to several factors, and backlinks from authority sites play a big roll in that.

I mean one could probably argue that if you had tens of millions of page visits per month that your PR could possibly be tied to it, but you also would have to look at the thousands of links you would generate via link-bait by having that many page views per month.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

It's exactly as Blogging Pro and others above have mentioned, they have no connection at all with eachother. In fact I wouldn't really place any signifcance on page rank as Google have said they are valuing it less and less in their ranking formula/algorithm. Some say Page Rank will be scrapped by Google but at the least it's certainly not worth placing too much value on it.

No-one knows the exact formula unless your in the inner circle at Google but it is highly based off of the quality of the backlinks pointing at your site.

I don't think you should pay to much attention to page rank, I would rather have unique visitors and a low bounce rate than a high pr page.

From my own sites it appears that page views do not affect page rank one way or the other. However, my pages that have the highest page ranks have the highest quality backlinks that came naturally because the content was good.

Page view and Page Rank not related At All. Page Rank Only Depend On Backlink and Content.

Page rank is not given depending on page view. In ranking, the most important thing considered is the power/quality of back links. There is actually not much reason for being tensed about page rank.
