Colored headlines after Penguin/Panda

Hi, all! After looking at some amount of well targeted and visited blogs I came to the conclusion that using grey/green or orange headlines before paragraphs is a good idea. After the well known 'Zoo' updates everyone is talking about content quality and less SEO effort. So what's your opinion. Should I rework my blog posts by improving them with additional paragraphs and headlines or this is an insignificant ranking factor? Thanks in advance.
