Ok, simple question. If nofollow blog comments do not pass any pagerank, then why are they so sought after vs no PR pages???

I mean, whats the point? Wouldn't a PR N/A link and a PR 6 link be exactly the same in this instance?
#highpr or nofollowwtf

They're not sought after, high or links that aren't no follow are sought after

you need to know which sites are no follow or do follow even though it accepts blog comments.

    No they're not the same.

If you don't have any nofollow links does that look natural? When other people link to your websites its supposed to be nofollow according to Google so not having any of those.... Is a little weird

There's also documentation out there that says otherwise about nofollow not effecting ranks

No follow backlinks are still counted by Google (just not as much as do follow links).

So even though you won't get any PR boost, a PR6 links still has a lot more "authority" than a PR0 link.

The harder I work, the luckier I get.

have you ever ranked a site in a slightly competitive niche with just no follow links? I didn't think so

Actually I have, which is part of the reason im so confused and asking this question. I ranked a site for a "medium" competition keyword using a COMPLETELY nofollow pyramid scheme. The site even gained PR after the update and has been sitting stable at #2 in the SERPS for the past 4 months.

For a long term link building strategy I wouldn't count on comments period. They are a short term boost at most.

Nofollow links still pass link juice.

But you should be worrying about links that provide real traffic. As a general rule, the easier a link is to get, the less it will be worth.

That's kind of what I was suspecting, which means the whole Nofollow thing is just BS.
