I posted a topic earlier about a VA. I requested someone with perfect English. Since that i have received a message from someone who i will not name but i will show you his message and to why i have disregarded him altogether and my only reply to him will be a link to this topic.

We just come across to your post that you are looking for VA for your work. We like to have your email so that can send my resume and you can check. In this business for more than 6 years.
In the same paragraph he said 'We' and 'my' Leads me to believe he is not a company but trying to give off an impression he is

In this business for more than 6 years - very poor sentence

First impression is such a big part in being successful and this person has already made me disregard him for any future projects i may have.

My advice to you all - Be punctual, polite, passionate about your work, and the ability to meet your deadlines

Edit: Also he pm'd me 3 times with the same message all 10 minutes apart. (very off putting)

    Very true. If a VA can't use proper English in their application, how can you expect them to use good English when they are writing articles for you....?
