Does anybody know any plugin or adnetwork which can show Clickbank links just like Adsense. I know Clickbank had a Hop Ads Builder but it seems to be shut down now. Is there any other alternative?

I Have checked Clickbank now and it seems that the link has disappeared.
I hope they didn't discontinue it?
Maybe contact clickbank themselves, that's what I would do.

      HopAd Builder

      From above page:

"HopAd functionality is being retired beginning July 23, 2012. Existing HopAds will continue to function temporarily, but no new HopAds may be created.
Thank you for participating in this beta feature. We will provide a date for final decommissioning of HopAds soon. Please remove existing HopAd Builder blocks from your website as soon as possible."

The hopads were useless anyway. They didn't keep it updated and half of the links that would show were bad links that went to 404 not found pages. It would have been a good idea if they would have kept it updated.

        This. Exactly.

Key concept: ClickBank products are not bought by people clicking on ad-links: they're bought by people with whom the marketer has build a relationship based on trust, respect and value.

This part I don't agree with: I think it would still have been a waste of time, even if they'd done that reliably (and I think they think that, too). It was always a misconceived and misdirected approach, and it's no loss.

Actually that is quite a nice point pointed out by Alexa. And I agree with you.

Well, the problem is, in one of my site Adsense is not performing well because of its niche so I wanted to replace some of those adslots with some Clickbank ads because I think if Adsense is not working nor will other adnetworks. Well atleast using Clickbank ads I may get a few sales but anyways HopAds seems to be dead now and I am not being able to find any other plugin or such service. Looks like I will have to keep Adsense.

Maybe times have changed, but I used to make my living back in 1999-2005 with these type of ads using Adwords (when Google was more friendly to affiliate marketers). I made a lot of sales from people clicking on these ad-links. I do agree with the message of your statement though.

I have to agree - I am sure that people do buy products after clicking on these type of ad links, but only a small percentage. That is probably exactly why Clickbank has discontinued this service.

Come on people, do you seriously believe that text links don't get sales?

When running Adsense the best performer is text links.

Google SERPs are full of text link Ads, because they get a better CTR & convert to sales.

I get plenty of search traffic that doesn't have a clue who I am, never heard of me, or my sites.

Building a relationship with traffic is ok, but it's not a deal breaker when running text Ads. Text Ads convert!

What I do when selling CB products is:
    • Build my own custom landing page on my site.
    • Use text-link Ads that I make & spread the links out over my site, pointing at my custom landing page.
    • Send traffic to the CB checkout.
    • Done

People do buy from these type of ads. I made a lot of money from this type of ad (adwords) in the past. The traffic needs to be targetted for them to work though. I think Clickbank discontinued the service because they never kept the database up to date and the hopads were worthless. Why put ads on your site that go to 404 pages or site not found pages. I still think it would have been a good idea if clickbank would have kept it up to date but vendors would disappear and clickbank wouldn't remove the ads from their database. And many of the better vendors never used the service. In the end the hopads simply could not work. You can't get conversions sending people to dead sites.
