Suggestions for Ranking Site

I am trying to rank my site that I created in 2005, however it is built on Intuit. So I dont see me being able to creat H1 & H2 Tags etc... It has 755 backlinks. I am pretty good at offline ranking but this is going to be my first go at online ranking. Should I proceed the same as I would ranking locally? What would you suggest besides putting in the keywords I am going for.

I also I would really like to move this over to a WP site but dont want to lose my age and other important content

    Forget about age. Move your site over to Wordpress. It's a fact that wordpress optimized sites are much easier to rank. They rank faster and easier. Focus on building high PR backlinks to your site.

    So, its true then, I will lose my age. I will consider moving over to WP. Now I just have to read up on how to do that

    You won't lose your domain age (or any associated trust) by moving it to Wordpress.

    You can keep the same URLs (permalink structure) so you don't lose any backlinks; not sure what other content you are worried about.

    Age isn't about how long your site has been on a platform, but how long the domain has existed with content (at least generally speaking)

    Moving a 750 page is going to be a chore to be sure, but there are ways to keep all the URL's and links the same-which wouldn't kill your age issue.

    That being said, I would move it to WP. I did it with a 50 page site, pain in the neck, but it ranked 3 spots better on the first page almost immediately

    Switch to Wordpress site, same domain so no loss of age, do onsite for your keywords and meta keywords, title tags, etc.. Then get gong on offsite seo. Articles, forums, blogs, etc..
