What do you do when you have an Amazon Affiliate or Adsense site that just isn't turning a profit?

Is it a viable option to continue updating and create an 'authority' site to create quality back links? Or is it better to just refund the domain (if possible)?

If the site is just new enough to get a refund you really haven't worked it yet.

The money in minutes doesn't always pan out, sometimes it take a while.

    Just some general questions...
What kind of traffic have you sent to it?
Where is it listed on the search engines?
What kind of back links have you built?

If it's not earning enough to pay for itself, drop it and put your efforts towards something that is working.
This is a business, don't get emotional about things.

Thanks for providing amazing value to this thread.

Anyway, to answer the OP's question. It could take a LONG time to see results with some sites / projects. Others can start bringing in results pretty quickly. It's a numbers game, really. Instead of putting all of your effort into one site I'd try and diversify with a few more. One may be successful quickly with the others may take a bit longer.

But if you've been working on something for a pretty long time and haven't seen any positive results don't hesitate to drop it and move on, either.

I'll choose to add more unique and quality content.
I dont think about backlink. Try to post quality content everyday around 3-5 post, with 400+ words. Let's see the result next month.
