How to handle HTTPS and HTTP For SEO

Hi All,

I have online shopping website and after installing SSL certificate my few pages is indexed in HTTPS format and other in HTTP format.

When I noticed it my website traffics started reducing, After that I have removed SSL certificate. Now my most of the pages is indexed in HTTPs format.

Now the problem is that after removing the SSL when some one click on my https pages they get Not found error. I try to redirect https to http but I am not able to do it. I have a online business website and Everyday I am loosing a lot of customer. Any SEO expert can help then it will be very helpful for me.

Waiting for the right solutions.

    Now! you must have back your SSL certificate because now its mandatory aspect to all eCommerce website those have online payment system.

    Install again your SSL certificate and also redirect your http pages to https. And then submit your home and their links to web master to get index as soon as possible.

      Really? It's mandatory for the entire site? Mandatory by who?

      Boy someone better go tell amazon, only their checkout pages are secure.
      They're going to get in trouble.


      So yeah, unlike what the "SSL Guru" told you, only your checkout pages need to be secure and even then it's only the pages that actually take the payment information.

    Online shopping website with no https, SSL certificate pages! Without that how can you manage to win the trust of customers?

    You should have waited after putting SSL certificates, you would have getting the same number of visitors in matter of days.
