I am curious if anyone knows how youtube ranks their videos. I understand keywords and tags play a large role but do you think the amount of views plays a huge role?

If so would it be smart to buy some Youtube views for videos i post? Would it help ranking on youtube and google for video ranking?

Also do you think the amount of videos and views on the channel make a difference?

i did a test on youtube a few weeks back and i chose a product from clickbank and add the word review at the end

it now ranks number 1 in youtube

    all i did was:

    add 1000 views
    50 likes
    50+ channel subscriptions
    social book mark back links
    some high pr links

i also added my keywords in my title, description and tags

it now ranks number 1 in youtube for my keyword with review which is of course very targeted for buying traffic and i have made some sales

this is what i did and it worked for me, its very simple but effective

Is the competition high for the keyword and are you getting organic views now?

Has anyone had experience with having a video banned because of too many views in a short amount of time?
I know some videos go viral and get thousands a day but just curious on if anyone has been banned because of purchasing.

I know what you mean. Many videos that show up at the top of their search engine to not contain the keywords in the title or description. They seem to have shifted more to social signals.

As ranking on YouTube is concern, you will need to optimize your video for your target keywords first and then create some trust and activity through boosting your video popularity by ways of views, comment, likes, favorite e.t.c.

Be careful what you buy because your YouTube account can get banned if you go about it the wrong way.

Do you have any confirmed cases of bannings because of inflated views? The sellers deny this, of course.

I have heard about peoples accounts being banned, or shall i say it can happen type stories but never spoken with anyone that it has actually happened to. I think i would be safe with 1000 views or so. I could see 100,000s of views and likes triggering the youtube flag but a few thousand should be ok

Inflated views throw up a flag and the video gets reviewed manually. If the video is selling something or the views do not look organic the video will get deleted. It has happend to me. I have found it is better to use multiple accounts vs focusing on one really good account, but I suppose it depends on what you are selling.

I can see views be a top reason why a video gets ranked. I believe there is more to it though. I think it is a mix of the following:
    1) Views
    2) Keywords in the title, description, tags
    3) Comment volume
    4) Likes
    5) Subscribers to account

Do you think outgoing links has anything to do with it?

This is a useful post, its weird because I have seen videos with 10,000+ views being outranked in google with videos that only have 1000. They also have a similar number of likes, I think backlinks still play a role.

      views
      favs

      comments
None of the above affect google ranking
      Backlinks and common Seo
      Nothing todo with views,likes etc

I found that driving traffic on specific keywords actually ranks YT videos very well. So I send traffic to my video based on the keywords I want to rank for. I have several videos I ranked for specific niches and then placed a CPA offer site in the description (which is converting very well).
After ranking in YT with these videos, they are starting to move rank in google!

It is very rare that a video will get deleted for inflating views. It is a VERY small percent. There are safe and real methods to promote your video though and I do recommend those means of gaining views over the fake mobile view methods out there.
