Backlinking FIVERR gigs: Money well spent or money wasted?

For me it's been a hit and miss. The great news is testing is cheap.

I agree with what has been said. I would spend your efforts on securing a few quality backlinks than a tonne of backlinks with no relevance or quality score. Be careful with Google because once you start, it can be a slippery slope to rectify.

My suggestion is, always check the feedback. Most buyers on fiverr are cheap and they complain quickly if anything go awry. A gig with >95% rating is more likely quality.

buying a fiverr gig is a lot like finding a prostitute, don't ask the right questions and you end up wasting your time and money... ask the right question and could be a good time..

But you also have to keep in mind that some people don't use prostitute, doesn't matter why they just don't

I think its trial and error. I tried with few guys & some were useless while others were good

Depends what your after. If you want someone to set up multiple accounts to something like ping.fm then fiverr is a great choice. If your looking at backlinks then I would sigguest using their services for second tier linking.

People who say fiverr is crap and you'll only get crap service because it's so cheap are idiots. Fiverr has such a diverse range of gigs for different things that no one person can say they have used them all and a good chunk of people who says is rubbish have never used it and go off what other people have said or have used a couple of gigs and been burned because they didn't take the time to research the gig first.

For keywords I want to rank which only get searched 200-300 times per month, fiverr is great and some gigs will let me target multiple keywords within this range for 5 bucks. Time I would rather be out doing something else.
