Questions about Google Analytics

It has been 5 days since my website (Amazon Affiliate Review) has gone online and I have been keeping a close eye on Google Analytics results.
I have been looking at Traffic Sources and I was wondering what the keyword "(not provided)" means. Also, what exactly is direct traffic? Does direct traffic mean the visitor pasted my website url directly into their browser? If so, how did they find this link without searching on google (could it be part of my social media bookmarking)?

edit: What does it mean when my "direct traffic" has an Avg Visit Duration of 0? Are these just Google bots?
Thanks for the help! (9 Clicks on Amazon .. 0 conversions, hoping for my first sale soon!)

There are so many search engines so it may be any boat from there.

Can anyone explain "Keyword not provided"?

Yeah, this is when someone who searches is logged into their google account. Google doesn't allow what they are searching for to come through, why? I dunno seems shady to me. As for the direct stuff, sounds like web crawlers of some sort or scrapers even.
