    It has been around for a while now, SEO should always evolve. It is when your strategy does not change and evolve you are in trouble. I am fairly certain there have already been a thread or two on this as well

    Google Authorship is old news. It makes sense: "real authority" requires people using real identities and exhibiting their expertise. That said, Google has since announced they stopped giving preferential treatment to posts by verified authors.

    I'm more leaning towards Google taking onboard social signals. I.E. working with Facebook and Twitter to count how popular a site is based on social signals by different verified profiles. It's the most legitimate method.
