MSN Adcenter Direct Linking, Can or Cannot ?

Hi,

I have read several discussion threads in this forum on direct linking with MSN Adcenter. Some said yes but some said no. Rather confusing !
1. So is the "new" terms of service (TOS) said cannot direct link ?
2. Or is it related to the landing page not adhering to their TOS issue ?

Adcenter has pretty much the same rules as Adwords. For both, it's not a question of direct linking. It's a question that the final destination page follows the Adcenter rules and guidelines, which you should become familiar with.

Assuming you are promoting an affiliate offer, a landing page is likely the safest way to go. Plus, you can use a LP to help track conversions to an extent.

Go with a landing page or just setup a redirect to the offer.

AdCenter isn't as on top of their things like Adword, but you can't just through up any offer.

  Did you mean using sub-domain re-direct in our host's control panel ? Will Adcenter accept an LP re-direct ?

You have 2 options: 1) Do it and cross your fingers, OR 2) tell them what you want to do and find out from them.
