Help with Adsense TOS

Hi everyone,

I need your help with the following:

I have a website that makes around $70/month with Adsense.

I plan to add an eCommerce store related to the traffic and also an opt-in form(s).

1. Will the occasional (not very annoying!) pop-up opt-in forms or the "drop-down" ones are against Adsense's TOS?
I know they are frowned upon by AdWords but it makes no sense for them to be "bad" for AdSense.

2. I also want to add a Peel Away ad on the top right corner. Remember those? I find that they do grab attention. What about those? are they against the TOS?

Remember, i do not "care" about loosing clicks (=income) and I do not plan on putting any ads close the Peel-Away etc. Basically i am not trying to trick the visitor.
All i care about is for my site or my account not to be banned!

Any help will be appreciated !
Thanks!

    1. Could be, there's no specifics.
    2. Could be as well.

Nobody knows the fine print of adsense. Lose your adsense account and it's gone forever!

From my understanding, adsense does not allow ynp but everything else is open. With that said I have known people to have adsense accounts banned for no known reason. Google makes the rules and changes them often.

I also use quite a bit of different forms of traffic to get my adsense up, one way I use, I am having a wso on and I guarantee it works.

Just follow the adsense rule strickly.

If you doubt, you can ask Adsense support to review your site.

Yes, before I do something like that which will change the user's experience, I send them an email first. You can never be to cautious with this.

Oh ! i didn't know you can contact them.
But again, I'm assuming they will answer within reasonable delay and no canned answers (?)

Either way .... can you really trust them?
If your site gets banned for no apparent reason, good luck proving it's related to the stuff the "OKed" you about.

      Thanks everybody!
