Linking Adsense Sites on Forums

I have an adsense site that goes viral whenever posted on a related forum. It tends to get reposted on Facebook and other forums, gathering traffic numbers from 1,000 to 1,500 the same day. However, the next day it falls to 500, and then to 0 the following day.

I am considering hiring a VA to post the site on forums once a week. Has anyone tried this?

What exactly is this service called and what is the market rate?

No idea. Forums are great for bursts of traffic but they are high bounce-rate, low conversions. People don't know what to expect when they click, so 90% of them hit "back". I wouldn't expect to generate much $$$ from it.

Reddit bought me over 3k unique visitors in one day, and I think I got one ad click and 92% bounce rate. It's because they don't know what to expect and are just intrigued.

      I totally disagree with that.

I have 1,500 to 3,000 daily traffic hits from a niche forum I don't own. Those numbers haven't dropped in 6 years (not a typo). Laser targeted & consistent free traffic.

The key with forum traffic is building up your brand on same niche forums, for long term traffic. What OP is doing is building random links on forums, not the same thing as branding.

My advice for OP is create an authority forum thread (single thread) for something the niche forum traffic would like (think long term), then grow that thread as large as possible. Don't bounce around from thread to thread spreading yourself thin.

You get more out of dominating a single forum thread than posting all over the forum. The reason this is true is simple, your posting awesome content over & over in a single location (thread) that keeps getting bumped to the top of the sub-forum.

Forget the VA, they'll screw it up, you have to get in there & be part of the forum.

Don't think link building, think brand building (it works, I know from experience)!

If it's not a crappy forum, yes, they convert.

You have to match the forum traffic to the product (content) just like any other traffic.
