    I believe you have to use different keywords to know which final keywords you ought to take such as Market Samurai, Google Adwords Keyword Tool, SEM rush, Keyword SPY, etc.

    New as well, have found good results with the Google Keyword Tool and the free version of Traffic Travis.

    Market Samurai works well tool from what I've seen, but it is a paid app.

      do what i do>
      look for keyword between 1000 to 10000 search results with low competition.
      to search for the keywords use adwords tool from google.

      And to know the competition put your term in google search "your topic like this in quotes",the keyword has to have less than 20000 competing pages.

      then you buy your domain named like the keyword you got.

      then you load articles and your monetization strategy {clickbank banners, content locks, cpa banners, amazon, adsense}

      you will rank hight just with the domain name and the articles

      hope this help you

        Bad advice. The number of competing pages doesnt give you much information, because you want to be on the first page on google.
        You therefore only have to analyze the competition on the first page.
        Check PageRank, Domain Authority, Backlinks, Onpage optimization...

        You probably wont. You have to build backlinks.

    I'm really starting to believe that paid advertisements (PPC, PPV, banner ads, etc.) are the way to go in regards to driving traffic to one's site.

    The reason why I say this is because I get the impression that most internet marketers that are spending a lot of time learning about and building backlinks and conducting onsite SEO are really not making a whole lot of money.

    I'm not saying that people shouldn't do SEO, but rather, that maybe it should be secondary to paid advertising.

    Think about it, if everybody starts doing the same thing (In regards to SEO), how would it be possible for everyone to get on the first page of google for their keyword(s)?

    With paid advertising, however, there's more likely "room for everybody", as ads are rotated, shown on the same pages, etc,
