hi again
i know a lot of people use the google webmasters tools ie posting code in the website etc,but is it worth keeping the code in your site or do you remove it after a while.

    You have to leave it in there if you want to continue to use it...

    It isn't like it slows your site down or anything. No reason to remove it.

    I haven't seen rank improve by adding it, but it couldn't hurt to leave it. Typically we upload the verification file to the server and then just forget about it.

        There are some other benefits to using Webmaster Tools, like being able to see impressions and links to your site as well.

        I like using it because many times you can see ALOT more links in Webmaster Tools than what Google shows in it's index.
