Need info on redirects + google

Hi Everyone,

About 6 weeks ago I purchased 4 new domain names. I started creating a new website on 1 and I redirected the other 3 of them to a pre-existing site through GoDaddys control panel for domain forwarding.

In there, for the redirects, I was able to enter the site title, description and relevant keywords to my original site, and everything seemed to work as expected... my three new domain names got indexed and had the title and description of my original site, and then sent traffic there.

About 2 weeks ago, I completed my new, rebranded site on the 4th new domain name that I bought, and I redirected those 3 other domain names through the GoDaddy control panel to the new site, with the new title and new description.

Today, two weeks later, I checked these redirect sites and I see that google still represents all of the "old site" information.

I've never worked with redirects before.

Will google figure out that it has out dated information and fix itself eventually, or because there is no actual "site" on those 3 urls to find title tags, etc, did google just pick up information once and now it's stuck like that?

Is there anything I can do to get the info on my redirect sites in sync with the site that they are pointing to? Quickly?

I tried digging in google for answers but my question is kind of quirky and I can't figure out where to look.

(Also, am I doing this right? I don't want to get punished by google for dup content or anything. Someday those other domains may become unique sites, but for now I just want them pointing to my new site.)

Thanks in advance for the insights!

- Pete
