Analyze your competition and DESTROY THEM.
- SEO |
One major factor I've learned and I'm sure people have mentioned it countless of times is researching, and analyzing your competition.
Anyways, time to go straight to the point. Whenever I start a particular niche, I obviously do a lot of research on what keywords/products I'm going to rank for. On top of that I REALLY look into the content.
My gosh, there's a reason why people are not ranking their sites at all, and a reason why Google isn't placing their sites at the top. It's beyond crap.
This is what I look for and when I see that, I DESTROY my competition; just by writing valuable content. No, I'm not saying I'm the best writer out there. BUT, with what I see as far as my competition goes, I can say that my content will for sure reach the top rankings. And it has been doing that for the past month.
Anyways here's the last thing I want to mention and something I've learned over the past years...
- This is a business. Treat it like a business.
- Write. Write. And write. If you can't write, get better at writing. There's no easy step to success. If you want to hire a writer, then hire them. But at least edit their work. I've seen sites where I'm sure it was written by hired writers, and even "hired" writers are just as bad. Therefore, once again do your research, edit the work. If you don't know how to edit, then learn. Get better at it. Master the craft.
- Don't settle. Exceed beyond expectations.
- Study everything. Study people, study the market, study the internet world, study the trends, study it all.
- A lot of people just want to jump right on board and get going make "that $$$$$$". Remember, it's not a sprint it's a marathon.
- Long term. Long term. Think long term.
- Don't be discouraged. Every failure leads to success.
- Stick to something and GO WITH IT. People give up too easily which decreases the competition .
- If you need to take a step backwards for a giant leap forward then do it.
- Focus. Keep building, and always provide content that you know people will enjoy reading.
- Failure is NOT an option.
- Have a STRONG desire/WHY you're doing this business.
Again, this is just off of MY experience. Thanks again Warriorforum, and take care.
