Need help on keyword research

Hi guys,
I found a competitive keyword that I would want to use to create a blog. Now when I did my keyword research on "google keyword tool" I set the "LOCATION" to "ALL COUNTRIES", now my question is will it affect the keyword that I want to use which has 1,900 LOCAL monthly searches. Does it matter if I set it to ALL COUNTRIES or I have to set it to the COUNTRY that I live in?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but I'll give it a shot

Inside the Google Keyword Tool under "Advanced Options & Filters" you can set your country to whatever you want. This affects the "Local Monthly Searches" column.

Naturally the "Global Monthly Searches" is just that, all over the world.

Are you targeting a specific language or region?

  hey thnks, NO i am not targeting a specifix region. The product im promoting can be use all over the world. but the course i am following says that LOCAL monthly searches have to be over 1,000

I suggest you go to the Google Keyword Tool, and here you can plan and take reference to the keywords of your blog for the purpose of obtaining a more traffic
