Hello,

I have a very basic question. When I'm looking at keyword research tutorials they always get 1 keyword or they show us that we should find 1 keyword. So my question is the following:

If I want to make a micro niche website to the #1 of Google, how much keywords should I actually get? 10 or just 1?

If 1 than I should rank my website for that practicular 1 keyword? Is it better option than searching 10 keywords in the same niche and rank them?

Thank you in advance!

    • It depends on how many pages of content you will add. You can target as many keywords as you want, but you need to create articles and sub-pages for each of them in order to obtain results. It is advisable to build each post around one main keyword.

Thank you for your answer. So if I actually target 1 keyword than I should make 1 article for that keyword? Or? Can someone explain me this?

I don't really think 1 keyword website would work these days, maybe there are but they are not my focus, you should try get a website with total of 100k monthly searches keywords. Stack your keywords in one website, it's simple.

But I can make a website called: animals.com when I have keywords about Forex, etc?

Or I should be in that specific niche and find more keywords for that?

It doesn't matter about the domain name, forget about micro niche sites, forget about EMD, forget about all the micro niche sites stuff like, getting an emd, getting a 1,000 local searches keywords, getting 3 keyword stuff articles, focus on what are you trying you tell. Focus more on user experience, then you will know what to do on ranking a random site.

Usually when aiming for 1 keyword, you land others too. So aim for 1, then see whats happening, and adjust yourself.

    Good luck.
