Top of Google Capture Page?

Sup Warriors. Just wanted to hear your thoughts on trying to get a lead capture page to the top of Google. Is it even possible or will they just deindex it immediately.

    If it is a very long page, for a non competitive keyword then it has chances..
    Otherwise the top of google is full of ads, so money talks :-)

    But seriously, I'm sure a very long page with lot of text has advantages, I've seen it several times, it's normal too. But the tendency today is to have a short homepage, when before it was a very long homepage and within it links to different other pages from the site.. Those times have gone, but still that's something that should work well. Long page I mean well over 2,000 words!
