Question about directory submissions

Hi there

My question is, when you submit a free link submission (without reciprocal link), it says it may take some time to submit the link - in your experience(s), how long has it usually taken?

Weeks, months?

Some of the directories are kind enough to say 6 months for example, but some just say it will take some time.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi sunnyp81,

There are relatively few good directories nowadays, most are just spammer's bait. Many of those will never be published, in some cases the directory may have been setup as bait to get you to submit your contact information to place on a spam list.

I suggest you not spend much time on directories that are not well known and/or well promoted.

There are many directories on the web. Every directory has their own criteria to publish links. Some allows instant link approvals, but some takes days, week an months to publish link in the directories.

Free submissions on directories without reciprocal or paid options usually takes from a few days to 6 months or NEVER.

    It's varies on the directories.
