How to go from PR3 to PR4?

So a few months ago I successfully got my site to PR3 through a mixture of low pr contextual backlinks, high pr non contextual backlinks, and lots of quality content. I have been continuing like this for nearly half a year now and have not yet managed to make the jump from PR3 to PR4.

Could anyone give me some advice on this? Is there any specific thing I should be focusing on to make it to PR4?

Get a few PR4s or PR5 links then.

Your content doesn't have "direct" impact on your PR. That's not how PR flow works.

  The same way you got from PR2 to PR3 Get as many high PR links as possible and, at some point, your PR will increase. You must also remember that Google PR updates are made only a few times in a year and the last PR update took place in the beginning of August.

  I have 4 PR7 backlinks and nearly 20 PR6, and a lot more PR5's, yet I am still not PR4!

You can get high PR by getting links from high PR sites and your content should also be user friendly and search engine friendly also.
Search engine should find easily your content and other visitors can also understand clearly about your topic so like this you can get better ranking in the by google.

As cliche as this advice may sound, but you need to get quality links pointing to your site. That's just it. There's no other quick way. Just be patient. Keep on doing what you are doing. You'll reap the rewards later on.

get a link from pr4 or above site that would be a better way to go PR3 To PR4.

but why you want to get to pr4 is the magic question, why not aim for PR10.

One trick to achieve a higher PR compare to your recent is to submit only your site to its same PR or higher. Just like your site is in PR 3, all you have to do is to find a submission sites that has PR 3 or higher. In this case the link juices coming from these sites will surely pass to your site. And be extra careful because Google Panda is hitting once again.

Participation on high PR questions and answering
Getting Quality back links

just keep the good work going on, for example the good content your visitors loved. my suggestion is that forget about pr. pr doesn't equal to traffic.

Scale up what you have been doing and your PR will increase with time.

Not that you are not doing enough but it's easier to move from PR1 to 3 than moving from PR3 to 4 and it becomes even harder as the PR increases.

My advice is to forget about PR as it has nothing to do with your ranking and just focus on quality back link and take the reward as it comes.

Are all these 4 PR7 and 20 PR6 do-follow backlinks? No-follow will NOT help you for your PR, but will be very powerful for SEO. Also, don't forget that your backlink should be on a page with PR7 in order to gain the PR weight from it, are you sure if the domain OR page has PR7? And one more things, are these pages indexed by google?!?
