How much seo work do you do to get your micro sites in the top of google? What work do you do at first?

How long does it typically take to see results?

What do you do if it still isn't in the top after your basic seo?

Term Micro sites is too broad , it all depend on your target keywords.

When do you get results ? If you get a good backlink with gets indexed quickly , then you can expect result in a day or two. Some time if you do a web 2 blast , you might see the result slowly or some time you won't see any change even , it all depends on how your backlink get indexed, and how your on-page is , How competitive your keyword is etc etc .. Be specific to get your question answered

Okay. I'm talking about Micro Niche websites. having 5000 or less local searches a month for relatively non-competitive keywords.

I don't do any SEO work on my micro sites...I build them with long tail keywords in mind, ie I do some onsite stuff to optimize for the LongTails...then I just let google do it's thing.

I'd much rather spend my time building new sites. Google's going to rank your sites however the h3ll it wants...

    • The best is to write well optimized articles around your main keywords, create some content for article directories and promote your site on social networks. Even though it is easier to rank a micro niche site, you should still build quality links and optimize your pages for search engines.

This entirely depends upon the type of niche you are in. So no one can give you an exact answer on this.

Generally I give my Adsense niche sites 3 months of maturing before I expect any real results. Also whenever I build a set of niche sites I only ever expect 10%-20% of them to really become earners ($2+ a day.).

There are some great tools out there you can use to automate your link building in Google approved ways. Steer clear of the black hat.

I remember an experiment I did back then. I created a site with targeted content and low competition keywords. I created an article and submitted it everywhere I can submit it to and then converted it to a document and uploaded them. I put a link into each submission and pinged them. In just about 30 minutes I hit 2nd page with most of my uploads in the first page. But that was because I did my keyword research right and I know how to spy on my competition.

Proper keywords + targeted optimization = results

Results can take days or months depending on the competition.

Try ranking your first microsite. Once you find the formula, you can do it again and again.

If you're not on top, build more links and create more valuable content. Keep on trying.
