Let's say you found out you had an extra thousand to spend on promoting a landing page.

What would you actually spend the money on?

PPC seems like a great idea, but it can add up quickly (especially with AdWords).

I'd love to hear your ideas!

Probably rent out a few high pr links and try to rank for some bad ass keywords.

This is how I think, but it still means waiting a bit for the results to come in. But it DOES seem a lot better than pissing the money away on PPC.

      part: SEO
part: PPC (facebook and google network with banners) (low CPC only)
      part: PPV

it would also depend on what your landing page is about -
careful on ppv networks, find one that is reliable and doesnt over charge you past your limits, seo works but will depend on competition how much you will achieve
and you already know ppc can add up quickly so set a reasonable daily limit, and tartget particular 'hot' days and time rather than 24/7

final rule: try to make it last! and focus on ROI
This is interesting advice. I never really thought about banner ads on Google network. I assume overall this drives a small bit of traffic? Facebook seems like a decent idea because it's targeted.

I like how you guys think

Depends on what the product is that you want to promote.
