how to beat a video on google. help.

Hi there i have a keyword which i am targeting on google, 2 word keyword.
on the first page is 2 videos at the top above all websites.
so what i'm trying to do is rank with or above them as it seems websites cannot beat the videos id like to join them.
I'm making a video of the sport tomorrow to upload.
I notice the videos have no links that I can find on any software, linking to them.
One video has 100,000 views and the other 150,000 views
can anyone give me any hints or tips to help me out reach these videos ??

    You can upload the video, optimize it, get some quality links for it as well as traffic generation. Google does seem to be loving videos now, especially with views, likes, comments and quality links
