Hey Folks,
I have an advertiser who wants to skin our site, will this have a negative effect on the SEO of the site. Also anyone have any ruff estimates on how much the bounce rate increases from this type of marketing tactic?

    It can depending on a few factors which is slim, but still can.

    1. If it contains inline styles
    2. If the CSS file is excessively large.
    3. Heavy images, javascript or flash added.
    4. Does the changes push down the content below the fold.
    5. Do these changes affect the site speed.
    Most importantly though is how your viewers like the changes. Get their input. I would put up a subdomain with the changes and have my visitors give feedback.
