      Oh you can expect a bunch of posts to pop up about it. I'm guessing out of the .3% that are effected 80% of them are users here are here on the Warrior Forum

    I can see the penguin refresh rolling out but if you have learnt anything from the initial penguin it should be how to avoid the current filters...no over-optimisation for me

    This new refresh has not rehabilitated my site but has affected deep searches as well.

    I had dropped in "toyota hilux vigo" and "toyota hilux" searches for my site: Toyota Hilux Vigo 2013 2012 New 2011 2010 2009 2008 Minor Change Toyota Vigo Thailand Toyota Fortuner Nissan Navara 4x4 Pickup Truck Dealer Exporter SUV Thailand Australia NZ UK Dubai Dealer in EMD update and that is understandable but with this new update today I have also tanked in sub-searches. To give one example, my "toyota-hilux-vigo.com/vigo-thailand.html" ranked number 1 in "vigo thailand" search and now it is on page 2. Is it because vigo thailand is included in the URL?

    Is EMD penalty not just in site name but also in file name?

    Be interesting to see if there are any recovery stories. I was hit by Penguin algo, no WMT message, and have done lots of work on cleaning up my profile. My rank checker not showing anything yet, it's too soon.

    Will there be more good news than bad?

    No one can figure it out. Sites are going up and down all over the map. There is probably another update coming down the pike which will move the sites again. It is going to be a roller coaster for a while.

      I can only hope so.. Google has turned out to be the best SEO partner anyone can ask for. 18 hours into the day and I have already broken every traffic record I have experienced.

    My EMD website got hit.

    It is a three month website, and was on #2 of google first page. And I was another website got hit too. It was on #1 before..also has a EMD

    I tried to search my keyword using different computers and proxy sites.
    Some show it on #10 of first page, some show #4, and some show ... nowhere

    And I just started my second website 2 week agao, which also EMD. Now I don't know if I should continue to do it...

    My authority site got crushed - traffic is GONE. All the main keywords I was ranking for, page 1 is now page 10 or worse.

    My pages that were ranking were not EMD, but did have keywords in the domain (but had other too).

    This stuff is just stupid. Relying on Google rankings for traffic is stupid. Its time to stop being stupid and just do what Google wants: adwords/adsense.

      It seems that my sites generally get nailed in the updates, start creeping up (although I am doing virtually zero SEO work) and then, just when they seem to be going ok again, get nailed in the next update!

      Starting to really hate google.
