SEO Sub Pages Question?

Is it better to have the sub page before or after the domain. Here is example.

getajob.careerstarter.com or careerstater.com/get-a-job

From search (adwords) or SEO strategy. Which one is better?

One is a separate site which would involve all the overheads of creating it, maintaining it and more importantly building backlinks to it, where creating a subpage/folder on an existing site is much easier.

No.

I'm saying that carerrstarter.com/getajob is generally much better as it is easier to maintain and has the weight of the existing site rather than having to start from scratch and creating a brand new site on a subdomain.

You'd be better off with it after the actual domain

When it's before it's usually something completely different like a brand new website... Possibly a forum

SEO wise I highly doubt it will have a difference

Also I believe what Peter was trying to tell you is it's much more work to go with the subdomain route (getajob.careerstart.com) and it isn't worth the hastle
