Hello..
I have number of questions:

Does old domain helps in ranking??

When looking to buy old domain, what is the most important: Age or rank?

Does fake domain PR (302 redirect) can affect my seo?

Thank you

It doesn't necessarily make it A LOT easier but it doesn't hurt.

Getting a High PR / Aged Domain will give you a nice little edge against websites with no authority at all

This being said you still need good SEO practices to win the race

The older the domain age the more it helps...to a point. You obviously still need to design good content and then backlink to it as well as promoting your brand. Having said that, domain age is likely to help you a little for things like the sandbox and also for authority. It is quite likely that Google looks at the domain age in their index's as another factor of ranking.

As to the weight of that factor...who knows

Just having an old domain does not mean that it will help in ranking although if the PR is good then it can be treated as a good site authoritatively.
You have to do SEO for that site too and if the content is unique then it will get rankings in the SERPs too and that too easily.

Not necessarily you will get higher page rank through old domains than new domains. Domains names are nothing but just like the name of a business. How the business will run, it can be decided through it's products and it's activity.

Well old domains are good but its about links. If the domains got some spam links and Google hasn't caught it yet but in future you might be in trouble.

Domain age is not much of a factor. If your domain is old and has always been active then it helps. That's because you have aged backlinks, trusted links, and good PageRank. Old domains that have sat around doing nothing for ten years are probably even a bit weaker than a brand new domain with momentum.

Domain age or rank is not affect on ranking, now Google only consider quality back links, so try to find niche related quality back links.

By now you should know to use the search function, both here and google. They work and have the answer.

If you asked this question a year ago the answer would have been a resounding yes but with Google with its own version of Death Wish sequel all bets are off. 15 year old domains are being punished brutally while 3 month old domains are rising skyhigh.

15 year old domains aren't being punished.. crappy sites are being punished, doesn't matter the age.

    Hello Mate.

Buying an aged domain will def help you start your SEO. However its usually impractical and you def don't want to buy a domain that doesn't match the new content you would be putting on it.

For instance buying a site like sportsbetting.com and putting the content about africanlions.com onto the sports site. Google would still give you just as hard of a time as you are going against the grain.

Age helps but only if done in the right way.

Age of the domain is important. if the domain is older then Google finds easier for indexing the sites.

      Yes and no.

Tech you could buy a domain that is 4 months old or even 2 months old in some cases which is out of the sandbox.

But with that logic he should have just bought his own domain and waited.

Buying aged should be YEARS and YEARS old with a relevant keyword as the domain name brand.

I tend to disagree... I have just finished a ton of research on keyword words in a lot of different niches and looking at the competition one thing that was evident in every search and stood out was that every site that was ranked in the top 3 and most of the time in top 10 had a aged domain of 7 or above.

Old domain is always better than new domains but you are going for buying domain only ,don't forget to do SEO process for that and add fresh content in that .
