Hello, I have a month old amazon affiliate product review site which is getting around 30 visitors per day, I just checked site email id, and was quite amazed to read this email, the email was sent almost 10 days back, I just saw it today...
Subject: Advertising

Message Body:
We sell [product category] on Amazon. I was wondering how your website can help increase our sales on Amazon. Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks
Now, the problem is, I don't know what to tell him. This is the first time I have received such email so, I am really confused how I should reply him. I am personally thinking of requesting him to send me product sample so that, I can actually write original review, not some analysis based on product specs. But, then if the product is bad, I won't be recommending site users to buy a bad product and build bad reputation among site users. Also, it is not guaranteed that even if I post good review and recommend site users to buy the product, then it will increase sale of their products.

Any suggestions what should I do?

Regards

Why don't you reply with a similar version of what you just told us.........

Willing to review his product (what is it?) if you can actually test it
    Honesty promised, no false advertising

Are they actually looking to pay you directly, say a bonus for being directly influenced or do they jusy HOPE you will like the idea of reviewing their product and decide to do it because they gave you a little nudge.

I asked them to send me product sample, and they have replied asking, "where they can send a sample to?"

I haven't replied them yet, and was just thinking if my location can cause any trouble or not. I am from India, so before, I reply them, I want to know whether there are any costs involved in receiving product sample like export/import duties, etc. Also, when I return the product, what are the shipping charges involved to ship it back to the advertiser in USA, approximately. The product category is electronics ranging $100-$300.

Why ask us m8. Just ask the question directly. Asking cost nothing the same way receiving costs nothing (unless customs grabs it)
